Three generations of the Varžak family have been building a story of premium honey for 40 years, poured into three unique brands. Classic, Good Vibe i Mediterra they are produced according to the strictest standards in collaboration with local beekeepers, and we have won awards for them at the most prestigious international competitions.

 

Our story is more than just awards—it speaks of the unbreakable bond between humans and nature. We believe that only minimally processed honey is a natural elixir of health. That’s why, going beyond legal standards, we have developed our own quality and safety standard, ensuring that every one of our products is of the highest quality.

Although our business has grown to become the largest honey producer in Croatia, we have never forgotten our roots. That’s why we actively work on preserving natural biodiversity through educational projects in the local community, promoting sustainable practices from beekeepers to future generations.

Varžak Classic is the first honey brand we introduced to the market, meeting our high standards of quality and safety. It is minimally processed to preserve all its natural properties, sourced from verified origins, and undergoes rigorous analysis to ensure its authenticity and excellence. Believe it or not—bees dance! This is how they communicate vital information, from warning about dangers and protecting the queen to the most important message: where to find the finest nectar. From this nectar, bees create honey, which we carefully pack into jars. During the production of Dobra Vibra, the honey is never heated above 40°C or filtered through filters smaller than 400 microns. This ensures that all its natural properties remain just as they were in the hive. By following our strict quality and safety standards, we guarantee premium honey of the highest quality.

Is there a Croatian honey that we can truly call perfect?

Guided by this idea, we explored every region of Croatia to find the perfect micro-locations for producing each type of honey. This led us to conclude that if you're looking for acacia honey, you should go to Bilogora, while for chestnut honey, Kordun and Banija are the ideal regions.

Each of these carefully selected honey varieties had an excellent taste, but we still wondered — can it truly be called the best of the best? That’s why we drew upon our 40 years of experience in honey production to define what Mediterra truly is.

Mediterra is, therefore, only the finest honey—only 3% of beekeepers even have the opportunity to produce honey for this class. From the very beginning of honey creation in the hives to the final product, this honey is not a random selection but a carefully targeted production of superior quality. Undergoing rigorous control, it ultimately finds its way into our honey jars.

Mediterra is available in four varieties: chestnut, linden, floral, and acacia, exclusively in 450g jars.

  • Can honey be ordered with home delivery?

    Of course! Our entire eCommerce system has been upgraded with the goal of allowing our loyal customers to order premium honey every day, with delivery straight to their doorstep.

    For delivery convenience, our orders are limited to a minimum of 4 jars, which are expertly packed in premium packaging, protected from all sides to ensure safe delivery without damage or honey leakage.

    Our customer support is always at your disposal. You can place an order by phone or get any information you need about our products.

  • Is it possible to return the product if something is wrong?

    Absolutely! We are here to assist with any issue. However, please consider what qualifies as a problem before reaching out to us. The key issues we immediately address include:

    • Damage during transport
    • Missing ordered products
    • Incorrect order shipment, such as the wrong jars being delivered

    Errors in orders can also happen on the customer’s end, which we fully understand and are willing to accommodate. However, please note that in such cases, the cost of return and re-delivery is covered by the customer.     • You accidentally placed an order
    • You simply ordered the wrong honey by mistake
    • You want to exchange the jars for a different brand, size, or flavor

  • How do you control the quality of honey?

    Our supplier network includes over 300 partners from more than 12 countries. We carefully monitor local domestic producers by taking samples before collection, as well as at four key points throughout the process: transport, storage, and production. For foreign suppliers, we require them to provide analyses, but once the honey arrives at our facilities, it undergoes the same rigorous quality controls as domestic Croatian honey.
