Acacia honey is thick and extremely bright, almost transparent, has a pleasant smell and mild taste. Its characteristic is slow crystallization, so it remains liquid for months.
Acacia is the most abundant honey in the continental parts of Croatia. Collecting acacia honey depends on weather conditions, which when acacia flowers in May can be unfavorable for bees. It is very bright, has a mild smell and a pleasant taste, and as such is recommended for children and adults to calm the nervous system.
